Prior to the opening of Glacier Family Foods, Teeple’s IGA was the conventional source for groceries on the Blackfeet Reservation. As a result of the monopoly, the store’s prices were much higher than at atores off of the reservation. Residents would often drive off of the reservation to surrounding areas for competitive prices.
